Announcing "dl-info@bush.cs.tamu.edu"

We have created a new mailing list called dl-info@bush.cs.tamu.edu and have added you to it. The list is intended for the discussion of Digital Libraries research and to continue the interdisciplinary community-building efforts initiated at the Digital Libraries '94 conference held in June 1994 in College Station, TX. The makeup of the list are those people who attended the DL94 conference; those who have requested information about that conference, its proceedings, and about the followup conferences; and those who have become generally visible as researchers involved in Digital Libraries. The list is not moderated at present; messages sent to dl-info@bush.cs.tamu.edu will be redirected to the group as a whole.

(Very soon we will be sending out an announcement of Digital Libraries '95, DL'95, which will be held in Austin, TX, from June 11-13, 1995. For planning purposes, the expected due date for papers is March 20, 1995.)

Since email addresses were obtained from a number of sources, we had to make up a default password to apply to each entry. That default password is DIGLIB.
